Our last newsletter discussed the book, Body Language by Julius Fast. http://www.attractromance.com/bodylanguage.html When I read the book, I found an interesting section which discussed the aggressive available woman. The book mentioned that this type of woman uses territorial intrusion to make her point. The author states, "She will sit uncomfortably close to the man she is after, taking advantage of the uneasiness such closeness arouses." Basically she try's to make the man uncomfortable to get his attention. She may touch him, but the man cannot touch her. I can relate to that. Not too long ago I went to a trade show. At that time I was walking with crutches and was very uncomfortable. Earlier that day I had placed Beaches on my forehead, chin, nose and on my chest. I always wear Beaches and sometimes forget that I have it on. I walked the entire exhibit which was held in a very large building. I was tired and sweating because of my physical condition. I couldn't wait to finish the show. I covered most of the exhibits. Toward the end of the show I came to an exhibit hosted by a beautiful young woman who was probably about 23 years old. I talked to her about the products she was representing. I also mispronounced several key words that her product helped with. She did not seem to be phased. I thought she would kind of look down on me because of my speech impediment. I asked if she was a model who had been hired to market the exhibit's products. No, her mother actually owned the company. As the conversation went on, I found out she also had brains besides her beauty. She recently graduated from college. As our conversation continued, I noticed that she seem to be moving closer to me. Mind you, during this time I did not intentionally try to hit on her. In fact my attitude was "I just want to go on" and I was not showing any immediate interest in her or for that matter personally interested in her. I like to preserve my marriage. Besides the wife is proof reading this! Anyway, the more she talked, the closer she got. Then she started to touch me with her hand on my shoulder and my back. The situation seemed so hot, I could almost feel her body heat! I was starting to get a little uncomfortable with her close proximity. I was thinking to myself, what is going on? However, I kept my composure. Now her eyes were looking straight at mine. I have been in these situations before. Just out of habit I was able to keep eye contact. I had forgotten that I was wearing Beaches. Was it the Beaches that created this strong physical reaction in this women? Oh yea. I wanted to move on, but at the same time break contact gracefully with this gorgeous woman. So I told her that I market pheromones. She then explained to me, "Now I know why I feel like I do. No wonder I feel so horny. I feel like renting a bunch of X-rated movies and going home to watch them." I then replied, "The reason you feel like you do is because my essence has effected you." Now that reply was not true. Perhaps BS on my part. I simply forgot that I was wearing Beaches. About this time her mother showed up. Nothing would have happened between this woman and me, because that is my choice. But it could have! However this situation was a perfect situation of territorial intrusion by a women.
